2019 is an age of technology. All that is required to snap a photograph now is a simple tap on our smartphones and it is saved in an instant. It was not as such in the past and one of the ways people remembered memorable moments was the Polaroid camera. In this exhibit, trace the history of the instant camera that was introduced in the late 1940’s and discover how Polaroid photography inspired the likes of Andy Warhol and Barbara Crane.
