It takes an incredible amount of creativity, dexterity and patience to turn delicate, unassuming sheets of paper into a three-dimensional work of art. Based in St Petersburg, Russia, couple Asya Kozina and Dmitriy Kozin form the creative duo behind these towering wigs that pay homage to one of the most outrageously luxurious styles in history. Inspired by the aesthetics of the Baroque and Rococo periods, their paper sculptures reflect these historical influences while seamlessly incorporating modern imageries like high-rise buildings and automobiles that take the place of traditional centrepieces like fruits and flowers.
