Before you strut out into the world with your baby, here are some pointers on picking a good stroller.

If you’re quite an active parent who foresees lots of trips out of the house or even out of the country, it’s prudent to invest in a high-quality lightweight stroller that is easy to transport and is able to withstand the inevitable bumps and knocks along the way. Collapsibility and folding ease are also important functions to look out for because you don’t want to be wrestling with a pram when you’ve already got your hands full looking after a fussy toddler.
