We know of Sir Stamford Raffles as the man who established Singapore as a British port and paved the way for Singapore’s transformation into a modern city that it is today. But there is more to Raffles than just a British official with the East India Company. In partnership with the British Museum, the Asian Civilisations Museum presents a multi-layered insight into the founder of Singapore and for us to dive deep into his connections, encounters and explorations.
